One of the things I never thought about when I was gifted with being my daughter's mom was, "How do I take care of her hair?" My daughter has long, thick, curly hair, and it's been quite the journey trying to figure out how to manage it. We went to countless stylists who didn't know how to manage Kori's hair. After a while, I just gave up and tried to manage it the best I could.

Until one day, my husband suggested I make an appointment with Alexis. I scheduled an appointment with Alexis, and the rest is history. Within the first few appointments, I could visibly see Kori's hair changing for the better. It was growing and shiny; she had revitalized her hair.

Then, my family and I moved again. This time out of state, I'd be lying if I didn't say my first thought when I knew we were moving was, "What am I going to do about Kori's hair?" We moved, and I researched stylists in my new city, and needless to say, I was at square one again. I had become so accustomed to how Alexis cared for Kori's hair that anything less than that wouldn't do. I contacted Alexis, letting her know I was at a loss. I can't find anyone to take care of Kori's hair properly.

Alexis asked me, "Would you be interested in learning how to do Kori's hair yourself?". I immediately responded that I was absolutely interested! Within a day, she sent me a list of tools I needed to purchase in addition to the websites I'd be able to find them. She also created a comprehensive and detailed hair care regimen with step-by-step instructions on adequately washing, conditioning, detangling, blow drying, and flat ironing her hair. I have no words for how immensely grateful I am for Alexis and the passion she has not only for her clients near and far but also for hair care in general. I follow the steps Alexis gave me every time I do my daughter's hair, and it always comes out great.

 

My results aren't as flawless as hers but I'm getting there and I know following these steps and consistency will get me there. I'm forever grateful for Alexis and her amazing spirit; the gift of teaching me how to care for my daughter's hair is a skill I'll have and cherish forever.
